Here is a classic tour for Syria...
Day 1 Arrive Damascus airport. Meet and transfer
to the hotel.
Day 2 Damascus city tour including the National
museum, Omeyad mosque, Azem palace, Hanania's house, Old Bazaar
and Via Recta.
Day 3 Depart to Maaloula and visit St Sergius
Monastery. Continue to Krak des Chevaliers. On to Hama for
overnight.
Day 4 Visit the site of Ugarit near Lattakia then
continue to Saladin's Castle. Visit Apame and return to Hama for
overnight.
Day 5 Departure to Aleppo. Visit the
archaeological museum, the citadel and the old bazaar. Overnight
in Aleppo.
Day 6 Depart eastward and visit Jaabar, Rassafa
and Halabye. overnight in Derezzor.
Day 7 Depart to Palmyra for a visit and
overnight.
Day 8 Morning tour of Palmyra. Afternoon return
to Damascus for overnight.
Day 9 Departure.
