   Honduras is an upcoming destination for nature and adventure travel. The unique geographical position of Honduras has blessed it with many attractions: a vast array of flora and fauna, a coast on both the the Pacific ocean and the Caribbean Sea with almost 1,000 km of beaches, charming colonial towns and mountainous terrain. along with the magnificent archaeological site of Copan.

Honduras at a Glance

Day 1   Arrive San Pedro Sula airport. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2   Morning departure to El Cusuco national park, a cloud forest reserve where you will follow the jungle trails. In the late afternoon depart for Copan.

Day 3   Full day tour of this very unique Mayan archaeological park.

Day 4   Morning white water tour down the Copan River. In the afternoon an opportunity to go horse back riding to the los Spos archaeological site.

Day 5   Early departure to Yojoa Lake via Santa Barbara. The route takes you via some of the more picturesque countryside areas of Honduras, full of charming small towns. This area produces many of the traditional Honduran handicrafts. Arrival at Lake Yojoa around noon, In the afternoon visit the lovely Pullapanzak waterfalls located deep in the park area.

Day 6   Depart for Tegucigalpa and overnight.

Day 7   Morning tour of the towns of Valle de Angeles and San Juancity located just outside of this, the capital of Honduras. These small picturesque towns retain their colonial architecture and atmosphere.

Day 8   Transfer to Tegucigalpa airport for departure flight.
