 INLAND JUNGLE TOUR
3 Days/2 Nights

Operates : Sundays and Wednesdays

DAY 1: Belize City / Belize Zoo / Xunantunich / Cayo Area.

Early morning departure for 40-minute drive to the Belize Zoo where you will view over 100 species of animals.  Continuation drive with lunch stop at local restaurant followed by tour of Xunantunich, "Maiden on the Rock", the largest archaeological site in the Belize River Valley. Xunantunich's most prominent structure is El Castillo, a partially excavated pyramid rising to over 130 feet. From the top enjoy a panoramic view of Belize and distant Guatemala. Overnight at your hotel in the Cayo Area. (L,D)

 DAY 2: Cayo Area.

Full day tour to the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, a 300-square mile scenic region of pine forests, tumbling streams, lush river valleys and numerous caves and waterfalls. See Hidden Valley Falls (a narrow chute of water falling l,000 feet), Rio On Cave and weather permitting, Rio On Pools. Return to your hotel for overnight. (B,L,D)

DAY 3: Cayo Area/Macal lRiver/Cahal Pech/Panti Medicinal Plant Trail/Belize 

Morning departure for a short ride to venue where you board your canoe for a tour of the Macal River en route to the Panti Medicinal Plant Trail, to view the plants and herbs used by the ancient Mayas. After lunch you are on your way to Cahal Pech Maya site followed by continuation drive to Belize City with drop-off at your hotel. (B, L)

 SOUTHERN BELIZE ADVENTURE
3 Days/2 Nights

Operates : Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

 DAY 1: Belize City / Dangriga

Early flight to Dangriga.  Full day tour of Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Jaguar Preserve where jaguars, ocelots, pumas, tapirs and other exotic animals roam freely.  This Preserve is the only one of it’s kind in the world.  Visit continues to the Garifuna village of Hopkins, and nearby Maya Center.  Transfer to Dangriga for overnight.  (L,D)

 DAY 2: Dangriga

We depart for a full day trip to South Water Caye for snorkeling including a visit to the Frigate Bird Sanctuary at Man-O-War Caye.  Return to Dangriga for overnight.  (B,L,D)

 DAY 3: Dangriga / Belize City

Morning at leisure to stroll around the town of Dangriga to visit local artisan shops and the small Garifuna village museum.  Transfer to Gales Point Manatee to board a river boat transfer which will navigate through the inland waterways back to Belize City.  (B,L)

3 Days/2 Nights

 Day 2: Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve / Caracol.

 DAY 1: Belize City / Flores (Tikal)

Depart for your short flight to Flores, Guatemala.  Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to your hotel for overnight.  (D)

 DAY 2: Tikal

Full day tour of the Maya ruins of Tikal located in the heart of the Peten Region of Guatemala surrounded by a thick cover of jungle which hide this marvelous ruin site from the world until it was recently discovered and excavated.  We visit the temples, houses and ball courts of this lost hidden world.  DAY 3: Flores / Belize City

Transfer to Flores Airport for your flight back to Belize City.  (B)

 REEF & RAINFOREST EXPERIENCE
8 Days/7 Nights

Operates: Tuesdays and Saturdays

Day 1: Belize City/Hotel
Arrival meet and greet service and transfer to Belize City area hotel. Accommodation.
 

DAY 2: Belize City / Belize Zoo / Xunantunich / Cayo Area.

Morning departure up the Western Highway. First stop is the wildlife habitat known as the Belize Zoo for an introduction to the country's diverse fauna.  Jaguars, tapirs, toucan and jabirus are but a few of the exotic species for photo opportunities.  We then head to the San Ignacio area for lunch stop at local restaurant.  After lunch we head towards the Western border of Belize where you board a 19th century hand-cranked ferry which takes you across the Mopan River.  The Maya ruins of Xunantunich are actually located on one of the highest plateaus in the area and it is possible to climb to the top of "El Castillo", the largest of the temples at this site.  From this vantage point one gains a panoramic view of  the Cayo District and nearby Guatemala, and breath-taking scenery of untouched jungles.  After tour we take a short drive to your hotel for dinner and accommodations at Cayo area hotel.(L/D) 

 DAY 3: Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve

Morning departure Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve which is teeming with hills, valleys, rivers

and falls, swimming holes and caves all surrounded by the majestic beauty of pine forests.  Our three main stops are the Rio Frio Caves, the 1000-ft Falls (road conditions permitting), and a chance to cool off in the cool waters of the Rio On Pools. Return to area hotel for overnight. (B/L/D)

DAY 4: Cayo Area / Macal River / Cahal Pech / Panti Medicinal Plant Trail / Belize City.

Morning departure for short drive to point where you board a motorized canoe for a tour

of the Macal River en route to the Panti Medicinal Trail. Along the limestone cliffs of the River you look for parrots, toucans and iguanas, as they hang precariously from the trees alongside the river.  At the Panti Maya Medicinal Trails your guide will point out plants and herbs still used by Belizeans for medicinal purposes.  After lunch you start your return to Belize City with a stop at the Cahal Pech Maya Ruins.  There you can see a small archeological site with corbel arch rooms that date back to 1000 B.C. Continuation drive to Belize City with return by 4:30p.m. Overnight Belize City hotel.(B/L)

DAY 5: Belize City / San Pedro, Ambergris Caye

Transfer from city hotel to Municipal Airport for 15-minute air transfer to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye for 4 days Island Ambience.  Accommodation included.

Activities on own while at San Pedro. Hotel accommodations included.

DAY 8: San Pedro / Belize International Airport

BELIZE GRAND DISCOVERY

Full day tour of Panti Medicinal Trail (as described above) with tour of the Che Chem Ha Cave site in the Vaca Falls area. This cave contains enormous Maya pottery untouched for thousands of years.  (Note: Rigorous 30-minute uphill trek to cave.  Physical fitness required).  Return to area hotel.  Accommodation.(B/L/D)

DAY 4: Barton Creek Caves / Horseback riding

Morning tour of Barton Creek Cave.  You glide through pitch-black caves used by the Maya in a canoe equipped with powerful spotlights.  Horseback riding in the afternoon. Return to area hotel. Accommodations.(B/L/D)

DAY 5: Inland Blue Hole / Gales Point / Belize City

Transfer by land with stop at Inland Blue Hole then on to Gales Point Manatee for transfer to Belize City by way of inland lagoons and rivers.  Accommodation at city hotel.(B/L)

DAY 6: Lamanai Maya Site & The New River

Morning departures to the Northern Highway to board your river boat and then travel down the New River where orchids, bromeliads and wildlife abound, on the way to the Maya site of Lamanai.  Explore the site and surrounding area, then depart via river to your bus and return to city hotel.(L)

DAY 7: Snorkeling the Barrier Reef

Full day of Snorkeling on the Barrier Reef and Goff's Caye with lunch on remote island.  Return to city hotel.(L)

DAY 8: Snorkeling the Barrier Reef

Full day tour to the Barrier Reef islands for snorkeling, swimming, and/or relaxing on beach.  Overnight in Belize City.(L)

Land transfer to the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport.
