Who We Are and what we do ....

Design Travel and Tours is a wholesale tour company specializing in foreign independent tours (f.i.t.'s). Since 1984 we have enjoyed an excellent reputation for providing quality travel experiences to discerning clients. many of our clients are repeaters who travel to different destinations with us every year.

FIT's are designed for discriminating individuals who have specific ideas on what they wish to see and do at a foreign destination. it is also for those with limited time or specials interests. Should you see a tour elsewhere but cannot travel on those dates, or wish to make changes to the itinerary, we can duplicate that tour to your specifications.

Included in the arrangements are transfers throughout by private car with English speaking drivers; sightseeing programs to your specific wishes, or general sightseeing by either private car, or for those who prefer, by seat in coach on a scheduled day or multi day tour; knowledgeable English speaking guides; surface transportation by rail, coach or chauffeur driven vehicle; and excellent hotel accommodations in your choice of category.

Design Travel & Tours handles arrangements in most foreign countries. We do not, however, make any arrangements for travel within the United States, Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean. Most all our programs are "land only" this allows clients to used their frequent flier miles or other discounts. Additionally we do not provide for hotel only or just a day tour. Our itineraries are complete in order to provide a seamless program.

Design Travel & Tours now offers scheduled tours to many of our destinations. Set departures offer the opportunity to travel with other like minded visitors.   Many of the programs within this site are geared for small group travel, and all can be offered on a private basis as well.
